Top Hand Scramble Foundation, Inc. is a Texas non-profit corporation, formed in 2018. It is classified as a 501(c)3 charitable organization by the IRS and you can view additional information about its charitable status at both Guidestar and Charity Navigator.
The cost to sponsor a calf and a student in a Calf Scramble is $2,250 per sponsorship. Students who participate in Texas 4-H and FFA programs have a chance to participate and receive a $1,750 certificate to apply towards the purchase of a registered beef heifer or market steer. Upon completion of all Calf Scramble program requirements, the student can receive a $500 bonus.
Since inception of the Foundation in 2018, Top Hand Scramble has supported the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Calf Scramble, Montgomery County FFA, Lufkin FFA, Morton Ranch FFA of the Katy ISD, Terry High School FFA of the Lamar CISD in Rosenberg, Dobie High School FFA of the Pasadena ISD, Dayton FFA and Orangefield FFA.
Our Foundation is always looking to expand the support of other Calf Scrambles, FFA & 4-H organizations that support positive youth development and mentoring organizations. Please contact us with any opportunities to help these other organizations.
